Dwight
Dwight Branch is the oldest of the branches, established in 1907. The effort to open the branch was spearheaded by Henry C. Dwight. Originally opened on Grace Street in the hall of the New Park Avenue School, it was part of the school for many years. In November 1928 the branch moved to the first of two rented locations on Park Street. Dwight moved into the new Parkville Elementary School, 7 New Park Avenue, in April 1979.
