Blue Hills

The Blue Hills Branch of Hartford Public Library opened first in 1931 but was closed the following year due to the Depression. It reopened in April 1949 as the result of direct requests from neighborhood residents. Over the years the branch had several locations on Blue Hills Avenue, the last being 649 Blue Hills. The branch closed in 2017.
